Ursula McCabe spent her career in the wine business where she helped establish Oregon wines in restaurants and shops. She traveled around the state where a love of ocean, forest, and ospreys moved her toward birdwatching and poetry study. Much of her writing centers on flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest. Ursula has been published in some Northwest journals, including The North Coast Squid and Oregon Poetry Association’s Verseweavers. She takes classes at The Attic Institute and other venues; this is her first chapbook.
